Integration Management
  • Consult with the Client to establish the Project scope, objectives, priorities, constraints, assumptions and strategies.
  • Manage the integration of the conceptual design, time program and cost budget for the Works, to form the basis of planning documents to be approved by the Client.
  • Manage the execution of the Project in accordance with the approved planning/design documents.
  • Manage the control of all interrelated changes to the approved planning/design documents.

Scope Management
  • Breakdown the scope of the Project into a manageable work breakdown structure encompassing professional services and construction.
  • Manage design and construction of work packages in compliance to the final design through the duration of the Project.
  • Manage acceptance of Client of the design and construction of the Works.
  • Establish and monitor the processes of predicting, controlling and document changes to the scopes of the project.

Time Management
  • Develop a master project program integrating the interdependencies of planning, design and construction.
  • Control and document changes to the master project program to reflect actual Project status.
  • Monitor that subordinate detailed program are produced and maintained in conformity with the master Project programme by the other Project participants.

Cost Management
  • Establish responsibilities for information flow between the design team, construction team and the cost estimation team.
  • Determine quantities of items in accordance with the design and establish cost estimates for cost budget for the Project.
  • Establish a format for the cost budget in consultation with the client that meets the Client’s reporting requirements.
  • Establish and monitor the processes of controlling changes to the cost budget.
  • Determine cash requirements as per programmed progress of work.

Quality Management
  • Establish standards, guidelines, in respect to the design, construction technology, material and workmanship that shall comprise of procedures, activities, organizational structure, responsibilities, that together aim to ensure that design and construction, processes or services will satisfy stated or implied requirements of Regional and National Building Standards.
  • Monitor that all Project participants meet their quality management obligations.

Human Resource Management
  • Establish the roles, responsibilities and reporting relationships between the various participating organizations for the Project.
  • Promote the development of Project team spirit to enhance Project performance.

Communications Management
  • Establish the communications structure and responsibilities for the Project.
  • Establish and Monitor the information distribution and record keeping.
  • Collate information and prepare reports for submission to the Client.
  • Manage the closing out of the Project and submission of the required records to the Client.

Risk Management
  • Establish responsibilities for arranging Project insurance and monitoring the timely provision of proof of insurance.

Procurement Management
  • Establish the Client’s requirements regarding potential consultants and contractors and methods of obtaining quotations, offers and tenders.
  • Manage the processes of preparing proposal calls and tender documents, and calling for proposals and for tenders, in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • Manage the evaluation of proposals and tenders, and their awards.
  • Appoint consultants and contractors on behalf of the Client.
  • Set up and institute an effective and efficient material management system and procedures for a sound procurement system of construction materials.
